I've been tapping for over 15 years, in some form or another, originally utilizing EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and now, with Intention Tapping (developed by Steve Wells) along with other Energy Psychology techniques.
Is this Woo-Woo, you ask? Honestly, my response is Woo-Woo works and No, the science is clear and with it's basis in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and it has a pretty good tack record.
